Quarantine Diary 6.1
(A Load of Rubbish)

13 September 2020

Even on Sunday, the police knock at my door.

A funny highlight of each day in quarantine is the daily trash collection, which happens about 3.30pm.

It’s very therapeutic to have the rubbish taken away. And the rubbish quickly accumulates due to the thrice-daily meal deliveries.

I have an alarm set for 2.50pm each day to ensure I don’t forget.

It’s also an excuse for a cheeky peek down the corridor. Note the security guard down the other end!

It was a glorious blue-skied day in Adelaide today, although a little too chilly to spend much time on the balcony.

Here I am doing some exercise (500 step ups) indoors, but with a view of the city (and of Liverpool v Leeds on my laptop).

Today I have also turned the corner with sleep, finally sleeping soundly through most of the night… although I’m still napping during the day a bit too much! ;)
