Quarantine Diary 10.1
(The end is in sight)
17 September 2020
A letter has been delivered with information about departure from the hotel. It also included a mask for “the big day”.
It occurs to me the mask is something borrowed (sort of), something new, and something blue!
I can leave on Tuesday (the 22nd of September).
Departures need to be spread out , meaning slots must be booked.
Remarkably the first departure window runs from midnight to 7.30am.
The window then closes between 7.30am and 11am, allowing for the arrival of newbies from the next Singapore Airlines flight.
The window then re-opens after 11.30am.
I’m not a morning person (and will need to check into new accommodation) so will be opting for a later check-out.
Departure is, of course, dependant on passing a final COVID-19 test.
