The Parker Square
The Parker Square is a mascot for people who give it a go but ultimately fall short.
The semi-magic square was devised by Matt Parker in an attempt to create an elusive 3x3 square meeting two criteria:
- 9 unique square numbers
- Adding to the same value along all rows, columns and diagonals.
Unfortunately Matt's square failed on both counts - but at least he tried!
You can now celebrate Matt's "achievement" with commemorative t-shirts and stickers.
